Akira Shinonome’s character video – Train to the End of the World’s problem child

The third Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku? character video is now out

One more much-welcome character video for the upcoming anime Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku? was released on the anime’s official website earlier today.

It is the third such video to come out for the new original anime (aka Train to the End of the World), following on after videos for Shizuru Chikura and Reimi Kuga came out earlier in the month.

This time, it is Akira Shinonome’s character video, with KADOKAWA describing the cute but apparently silly girl like this:

Akira likes to read difficult books and is very knowledgeable about trivia. She tries to act like an adult, but she is just a big-headed person, as well as being a childish and fearful person for her age.

She often gets into quarrels with Reimi by making sarcastic remarks, and teasing her.

But, although Akira might have a bit of a problem personality, you have to admit she is still adorably cute.

Check out her official character designs here if you’re still not sure!

Akira Shinonome is being voiced by Hina Kino, who is most recently known for playing Lishu in The Apothecary Diaries, and previously voicing the equally cute Miri-chan in Buddy Daddies, and Hanako Honda in Asobi Asobase.

Train to the End of the World is due to premiere on April 1st on AT-X and other channels in Japan, and with Crunchyroll streaming the anime internationally.

Watch Akira Shinonome’s character video, and get a gander at that problem personality.

I like her as, let’s face it, difficult girls are usually more interesting than those who are too sweet, right?
