Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings’ Masha character video intros sweet ‘Madonna’ of the school

The Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian character videos just keep on coming, with main girl Alya’s already out, followed by one for classmate Masachika, and last week’s Yuki Suo character video.

And today a new video for Alya’s older sister Masha via the anime’s official X account.

The Mariya Mikhailovna Kujou/Masha character video intros the student council secretary.

A girl who is so beautiful, she is known as the ‘Madonna’ of the school. And one who is sweet, kind and has such a pleasant air about her. Especially with those lovely sparkling eyes.

She’s so darned cute!!!

Along with the Masha character video, which also introduces her voice actress Yukiyo Fujii (Rona in Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy), a new 15-second TV commercial was also released. (Watch below)

The Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings… light novels

The upcoming Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian is based on the light novel series by Sunsunsun and Momoco, which are currently being published in English by BookWalker.

They explain the plot like this:

Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou is Seiren Private Academy’s “solitary princess.” She’s a half-Russian beauty with silver hair, at the top of her class, student council accountant, and…completely unapproachable.

For some reason, she’s also taken on the responsibility of reprimanding the slacker who sits next to her in class.

Masachika Kuze is constantly frustrating her by falling asleep, forgetting his textbooks, and just being an overall unexemplary student. Or at least, that’s how it looks from the outside. She may put on a tough act, but she doesn’t mind Masachika as much as others would think. She even lets him call her by her nickname, Alya.

Anyone hearing the comments she mutters in Russian under her breath might know how she really feels, but since none of her classmates understand the language, she’s free to say whatever she likes!

Except…there is one person who knows what she’s saying. Masachika eavesdrops on her embarrassing revelations, pretending to be clueless, all the while wondering what her flirtatious comments actually mean!

The Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian anime is being directed by Ryouta Itou (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie). He is also responsible for series composition and scripts.

Dog (chief animation director of My Senpai is Annoying) is both chief animation director and the anime’s character designer.

Studio Doga Koba (Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle) is in charge of anime production.

Now watch the just-released Masha character trailer below, and mark your calendars for the anime’s premiere on July 3rd.

Crunchyroll will be streaming the rom-com anime internationally soon after it airs in Japan.
