The award-winning Korean historical drama Korea-Khitan War, Episode 16 aired on KBS2 on Sunday night to the same strong ratings it earned on Saturday night.

Ratings that have risen from Episode 1’s 5.5 percent to last night’s rating of 10.00 percent, which is heading towards double, and down just .20 percent from its episode on Saturday.

Korea-Khitan War has been one of the most buzzworthy shows in South Korea since it released on November 11th, then garnered even more attention after it was one of the big winners at the KBS Drama Awards on New Years Eve, 2023.

The drama and its actors’ awards included Kim Dong Jun, who plays King Hyeonjong, being awarded the Top Excellence Award for an actor, and Ji Seung Hyun winning the Excellence Award for an Actor in a Serial Drama as well as the Popularity Award for his role as Yang Kyu.

Korea-Khitan War is currently airing on KBS2 in South Korea every Saturday and Sunday at 21:25 (KST).

Outside the country, it is available on KOCOWA in North America.

Netflix is also airing the historical Korean drama in some Asian countries.

In other words, it isn’t easy to find it legally in many regions of the world just yet. Fingers crossed that will change.
