Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Ep 12 has HUGE ratings jump – #1 show of any kind for all of Sunday
I doubt it’s just me who is happy to see the superb Korean drama Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, Episode 12 not only experience a huge ratings jump last night, but also end up being the #1 show of any kind to air on Sunday in South Korea.
After all, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty has had a very dedicated and very happy fan base since it premiered on August 23rd.
Fans who will be thrilled to see Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, Episode 12 end the tvN drama’s run on an enormous nationwide ratings jump — from 12.39 percent on Saturday to 17.10 percent on Sunday — and an even bigger ratings jump in Seoul — from 11.84 percent for Episode 11 to 17.40 percent for Episode 12.
Both those ratings also mean the Korean historical romance drama was the #1 most-watched show of any kind for all of Sunday in South Korea.
Even beating out the weekend’s usual favorite — Our Golden Days — which ended up with 15.3 percent of the nationwide audience, and 14.1 percent in Seoul.
Bon Appétit, Your Majesty on Netflix
It’s not just Korean audiences who love Bon Appétit, Your Majesty either, as the K-drama is also currently #1 on Netflix’s Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart this week.
The K-drama hit that spot due to being watched for 84.7 million hours, for a total of 6.5 million views.
It’s also likely to still be in the #1 position when the next Netflix chart is released by the streaming platform tomorrow.
Bon Appétit, Your Majesty has also ended with a very high average (for that site) of 8.6 out of 10 on My Drama List from almost 12,000 viewers.
And when users of that site are rating a drama as high as that, you know it’s worth watching.
The smash-hit Korean drama stars Yoona, Lee Chae Min, Kang Han Na and Choi Gwi Hwa — a superb main cast that has really brought these wonderful characters to life.
All 16 episodes are now available to watch on Netflix.
