Both came out via the official WeTV X account, and both simply feature the C-drama’s stars Liu Haocun and Wang Anyu. Well, that’s who this romance drama is all about, right?

WeTV also commented about the drama:

Our future shines bright. No one else decides. We shape our destiny. Shared horizons pave our unwritten roads.

The Be Passionately in Love plot

The C-drama is based on the webnovel Xian Ru Wo Men De Re Lian (陷入我们的热恋) written by Er Dong Tu Zi (耳东兔子).

While the Chinese title, which roughly translates to Fall in Love with Us, is sweet, the English title definitely has a bit more oomph to it, don’t you think?

As for its plot, China’s online encyclopedia Baidu Baike explains it like this:

The story begins in the rain-soaked southern city of Qingyi, where Xu Zhi (played by Liu Haocun), the dark horse of Rui Jun High School, crosses paths with Chen Luzhou (played by Wang Anyu), the top-scoring academic prodigy.

A simple misunderstanding sparks their fiery dynamic—she’s the sharp-tongued “Zhi Boss,” he’s the poetic “Chen the Bard”—and so begins a whirlwind of bickering and simmering tension. Their playful exchanges blur into unspoken attraction, a push-and-pull dance of wit and vulnerability.

But reality interrupts: Chen’s family sends him abroad for studies, while Xu achieves her dream of studying architecture in Beijing. Though their hearts pull toward each other, oceans keep them apart—until fate intervenes.

In an unexpected twist, Chen abandons his overseas plans and returns home, transferring to Xu’s university. Reunited at last, he casts aside hesitation, chasing down his “ex-girlfriend” with reckless devotion.

What follows is a love story for the ages—two souls healing each other’s wounds, standing guard over shared dreams, and diving headfirst into a romance with no end in sight.

Sounds beautiful, doesn’t it?
