The final episode of the Korean drama Connection aired on SBS last night to a big ratings rise, and to the highest rating of its entire run.

Those Connection, Episode 14 ratings were 14.2 percent nationwide, which is a substantial increase from the 11.0 percent the drama earned for its penultimate episode the night before.

The drama earned an even higher ratings jump from viewers in Seoul, grabbing 14.8 percent on Saturday night compared to Friday night’s 11.7 percent.

That audience share also means Connection ended its 14-episode run with a 9.2 percent average per episode nationwide, and a 9.6 percent average from audiences in Seoul.

Those are also the highest ratings for an SBS Friday/Saturday drama this year, with Connection beating out My Demon, Flex X Cop and The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection — which previously aired in the same time slot.

That makes Connection the most successful SBS Friday/Saturday drama of 2024 so far.

Something that will be no surprise to its viewers as, script-wise, performance-wise and direction-wise, the Korean crime drama is easily one of the Top 10 best K-dramas of 2024 at the moment.

Connection stars Ji Sung, Jeon Mi Do, Kwon Yul, and Kim Kyung Nam.

The Korean drama aired on SBS in South Korea every Friday and Saturday night from May 24th, to July 6th, 2024.
