Destined with You, Episode 5 ratings crash in Seoul

The Korean drama Destined with You, Episode 5 aired last night to steady ratings nationwide, but with the lowest ever rating in Seoul.

According to Nielsen Korea, Destined with You, Episode 5 earned 2.80 percent nationwide, which is a slight increase over the previous episode’s 2.77 percent.

In Seoul, however, the JTBC drama dropped from 2.89 percent for Episode 4 to last night’s 2.50 percent –Destined with You‘s lowest ever rating in the Korean capital.

Those ratings, however, still placed the drama in 4th place on cable TV nationwide, and in 5th place in Seoul.

On Netflix, where the drama is airing for international audiences, it has dropped from the third most-watched Non-English TV show last week to today’s seventh most watched according to FlixPatrol.

Meanwhile, viewers rating the fantasy drama via IMDB are currently giving it quite low 7.7 out of 10.

Destined with You stars Rowoon and Jo Bo Ah, and airs on JTBC in South Korea every Wednesday and Thursday at 22:30 (KST), with the next episode due to premiere later on tonight.

Netflix is streaming the drama for international viewers, with each new episode uploaded around the same time as it appears in Korea.
