Now that the official cast of the upcoming Korean rom-com DNA Lover has been announced, the K-drama’s first poster has also just been released.
That poster (see below) is simple but quite striking as it features the cast — Choi Si Won, Jung In Sun, Lee Tae Hwan, and Jung Yoo Jin — standing together against a pink background. (And what a cast, eh?!!)
The caption ‘Love? Destiny?? DNA… is everything… you know!!? hints at the drama’s plot, as we follow Han So Jin (played by Jung In Sun), a genetic researcher who decides to break up with her playboy boyfriend and find a genetically compatible partner instead.
And that’s when she meets obstetrician-gynecologist Shim Yeon Woo (Choi Si Won) and firefighter Kang Hoon (Lee Tae Hwan).
But which one will be the perfect match according to DNA?

Meanwhile, Jang Mi Eun (Jung Yoo Jin) is a relationship columnist who used to date Shim Yeon Woo, and who now thinks a woman should never depend on a man as, if she does, she will only end up hurt.
DNA Lover is written by Jung Soo Min (Born Again), and is directed by Sung Chi Wook (Tomorrow).
The 16-episode K-drama premieres on TV Chosun on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 21:10 (KST).
