Doctor Slump, Episode 10 sees ratings turnaround

After experiencing a drop in its ratings for Episode 9, the ongoing Korean drama Doctor Slump, Episode 10 aired tonight to soaring ratings and the drama’s highest audience share yet.

According to Nielsen Korea, Doctor Slump, Episode 10 bounced back from Saturday night’s nationwide ratings fall to 5.82 percent to tonight’s audience share of 8.17 percent.

That is an increase of 2.35 percent, and the highest viewership the Korean rom-com has earned in its run so far.

JTBC drama Doctor Slump #1 most-watched show on cable

The JTBC drama performed even better in Seoul, grabbing 9.77 percent of the audience share.

An increase from Episode 9’s 6.80 percent and, again, Doctor Slump‘s highest ever rating in Seoul.

Those ratings also mean the K-drama was the #1 most-watched TV show on cable in South Korea for all of Sunday.

The cast and crew must be thrilled.

With six episodes still to air, the next episode of Doctor Slump will premiere on JTBC in South Korea on Saturday, March 2nd.

For folks outside South Korea, Netflix carries the medical-themed rom-com in most regions, where it has never left the Top 10 most-watched non-English TV shows chart since it premiered on the streaming platform.
