With just three episodes left to air before the Korean drama ends, Doctor Slump, Episode 13 aired in South Korea last night to another drop in ratings.

According to data via Nielsen Korea, the nationwide Doctor Slump, Episode 13 rating on Saturday night was 5.27 percent, which is a drop from the Korean drama’s previous episode’s audience share of 6.59 percent.

The drama’s Seoul ratings were higher, but still saw a drop from Episode 12, falling from 7.65 percent to last night’s 6.22 percent.

Both the nationwide and Seoul ratings, however, did place the drama in first place in its time slot.

International performance of Doctor Slump

Meanwhile, internationally Doctor Slump is having the reverse experience as it jumped from #6 to #3 on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart last week.

A chart it has also not dropped off since it debuted on it at the end of January.

According to Netflix, the rom-com is so popular on the streaming service, it was viewed more than 2.5 million times last week alone, for a total number of hours of almost 22 million.

Yep, that’s a pretty successful Korean drama, I would say.

Doctor Slump stars Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye, and airs on JTBC every Saturday and Sunday evening.

Episode 14 aired in South Korea a few hours ago, with Netflix also now streaming it.

We’ll keep you posted with news about its ratings as soon as Nielsen Korea releases them.
