Joseon Attorney Episode 2 ratings increase and that bodes well for drama going forward

The Korean period drama Joseon Attorney: A Morality continued to gain popularity with its latest episode last night.

Nielsen Korea released the Joseon Attorney, Episode 2 ratings earlier today and they show a .1 percent increase in the drama’s audience share nationwide over its previous episode, which aired on Friday night.

Not a huge increase, of course, but in many cases Korean dramas tend to lose audience share after their first episode, as audiences tune in and then decide if the new show is to their liking or not.

With the Joseon Attorney, Episode 2 ratings being slightly higher then, that does bode well for the remainder of the season for the action revenge drama.

With international audiences on various websites and forums also commenting about their enjoyment of Joseon Attorney: A Morality so far — especially for the drama’s cinematography, plot and strong performances from its lead actors — that also bodes well for its success outside South Korea.

On Viki alone, the drama is already rated with a 9.8 out of 10.

Yes, that website’s viewers rate high, but that rating is even high for them.

Joseon Attorney stars Woo Do Hwan, Bona, and Cha Hak Yeon.

It airs in Korea every Friday and Saturday at 21:50 (KST), with streaming for international audiences via Viki and Kocowa.

Check out the official Joseon Attorney trailer below if you like a good period drama and have missed this one so far. Two episodes in, and it is well worth a watch.
