Earlier today, production company ASTORY confirmed that a Season 2 is on the way for the hit Korean drama Crash.
Crash, Season 2 is now in production with comments from both director Park Jun Woo and writer Oh Soo Jin giving fans a heads up as to what to expect.
A new poster promoting the upcoming new season was also released.
Park Jun Woo said about the second season:
Thanks to the support of viewers, we will work hard to make ‘Crash 2’ a long-running Korean-style seasonal investigation drama with more diverse episodes and upgraded car action.
In other words, it sounds like Crash, Season 2 may not be the end.
Meanwhile writer Oh Soo Jin commented that viewers should expect even more interesting and unusual cases going forward:
In season 2, not only the chemistry between the TCI team members but also the colorful stories of the characters at Namgang Police Station will unfold. More diverse traffic crime cases will also be covered, so please look forward to it.
Production company ASTORY also wanted viewers to know the scale of Crash, Season 2 will be much larger than its first season.

The first season of Crash premiered on ENA in South Korea on May 13th and ran through June 18th, 2024.
Over its 12 episodes, it followed members of the Traffic Crime Investigation Team (TCI) and looked at a variety of traffic-related crimes in South Korea, as well as told the stories of those involved in them.
The Korean drama also streamed internationally on Disney+.
Crash stars the stellar cast of Lee Min Ki, Kwak Sun Young, Heo Sung Tae, Lee Ho Chul, and Moon Hee.
