New Kim So Hyun photos from JTBC’s upcoming drama Good Boy have been released by the South Korean network this week.
In the stills, the 25-year-old actress plays Ji Han Na, an Olympic gold medalist who, after already winning one gold medal, is now going after her second in the “Sao Paolo Olympics 2016”.
The action comedy drama Good Boy reportedly tells the story of a group of Olympic medalists who, after realizing they are struggling financially, as well as are likely to have short careers due to injuries and other problems in the sporting world, decide to become special police officers.
The group they form is called ‘Olympic Avengers‘, with the Olympic athletes using their athletic skills to help fight crime, and to solve injustices.
The K-drama is written by Lee Dae Il (Chief of Staff/Life on Mars).
It is being directed by Shim Na Yeon (director of The Good Bad Mother/Beyond Evil).
The drama will be Kim So Hyun’s second this year, as she is already starring in the currently airing Serendipity’s Embrace on tvN.
The 16-episode K-drama features a stellar cast as, alongside Kim So Hyun, the main cast includes Park Bo Gum, Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Suk.
Good Boy is due to premiere some time in the last half of 2024.
Unfortunately for many, it appears the Korean drama is set to stream on Amazon Prime (see Page 11), and not on Netflix or Viki.
