The Movie Star Brand Reputation Rankings for April, 2025 are out via the Korean Business Research Institute, with Lee Byung Hun at #1.
The 54-year-old South Korean actor heading the latest list is due to him starring in the hit Go-themed film The Match, which was released on March 26th and is now showing in movie theaters all over South Korea.
The film has since gone on to make over $12.1 million at the box office. It has also just topped the weekend box office receipts for the 3rd weekend in a row, and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
The rankings were compiled for the period March 15th to April 15th, and are based on news media mentions, social media posts, and what the Korean Business Research Institute calls ” community awareness indexes”.
The rankings don’t always represent actors who are currently starring in movies either.
Just those that are known as movie actors, some of who also appear in dramas, and who may be promoting an upcoming movie or known for starring in one.
