Lee Jun Ho turns 34 today – let’s hope his 2024 is as fabulous as his 2023

Lee Jun Ho, actor, singer and member of boy band 2PM, turns 34 years old today and, let’s just say, let’s hope his 2024 is as superb as his 2023.

Because, yes, one of the highlights of Junho’s 2023 (and our 2023 as well) was starring in the hit drama series King the Land alongside Im Yoon Ah.

A K-drama series that was so successful, it had almost trebled its TV ratings by the time Episode 16 concluded on August 6th as well as being a huge hit on Netflix worldwide.

Lee Jun Ho’s superb drama performances just one of the things he does well

Lee Jun Ho’s performance was so good in King the Land, it earned him the Daesang (Grand Prize) as Actor of the Year at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards.

King the Land, of course, came just over a year after his equally superb performance in another massive hit drama — The Red Sleeve — which also earned the Korean actor the Best Actor Award for Television at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Both roles were preceeded by other main roles in dramas like Confession, Wok of Love, Just Between Lovers and Good Manager.

Lee Jun Ho also starred in the movies Homme Fatale and A Rose and a Tulip.

But, of course, acting isn’t the only thing the now-34-year-old actor does well, as he is also one of the members of the superstar boy band 2PM.

The band got its start in 2008 and, after a short break from 2017 till 2021 due to the members having to do mandatory military service in South Korea, is still going strong.

2PM’s latest live performances were in late 2023 as a celebration for the 15th anniversary of their debut.

Lee Jun Ho’s birthday

Lee Jun Ho, by the way, was born in Seoul, South Korea on January 25th, 1990.

He got his start in the music business at the age of just 16 when he won the Superstar Survival contest, beating out 11 other teenage competitors.

Jun Ho then signed a contract with JYP Entertainment, but it wasn’t until 2008 when 2PM was formed that he and his band mates became household names for just about any teen in Korea and beyond.

Since then, Lee Jun Ho has also established a successful solo career alongside his acting career, although it appears acting is now his true love.

There is no word yet as to what drama or film Lee Jun Ho will be starring in next, but with his recent success in King the Land and The Red Sleeve, it won’t likely be long before we find out.

Until then, a very happy birthday to Lee Jun Ho. We hope your 2024 is wonderful.
