My Dress-up Darling, Season 2 gets cute recap video of Season 1 – and Marin is sooooo excited
There has been a plethora of cool information coming out of this weekend’s Anime Japan 2025, including an update about the upcoming My Dress-up Darling, Season 2.
Because, yep, it’s definitely a thing, and its on its way — hitting streaming services in July, 2025.
The announcement was made both at Anime Japan, and on the official My Dress-up Darling X account, which also released a cute ‘Memories’ video, and a new visual featuring protagonists Marin and Gojou.
The My Dress-up Darling ‘Memories‘ video is just a 2-minute reminder of the major events in Season 1 (watch below), but a welcome release nevertheless.
Especially as Marin is sooooo excited throughout all of it.

And, man, isn’t it great to be certain we will be catching up on Marin and Gojou’s love affair soon??!!
Especially as Season 1 ended with Marin admitting she loves Gojou. Just like we all knew she did from waaaaay earlier on.
New My Dress-up Darling, Season 2 celebration visual
That new visual, by the way, is a pretty simple one of just Marin and Gojou standing back-to-back but, even from that sweet simplicity, it’s obvious they are getting ready for more cosplay designing genius. Yay!
Along with the ‘Memories‘ video and the visual, the anime’s X account also commented every episode of Season 1 will be rerun sequentially in Japan starting April 11th, followed by Season 2 beginning in July.
International viewers can watch it exclusively on Crunchyroll.

If it’s anything like the run-up to Season 1, and it probably will be, you can expect a lot of it.

Obsessed with anime and manga. Desperate for time to stop with only me left moving in the world. Then I’d have the time needed to watch the 543 anime DVDs I own, and read the more than 1,000 manga.
