With the latest episode of the K-drama My Dearest not airing last night due to a baseball game in Korea, the cast and crew of The Escape of the Seven must be thrilled with the results as the revenge drama saw its highest ratings in a long time.
According to Nielsen Korea, The Escape of the Seven, Episode 13 earned 7.2 percent of the audience share nationwide on Friday night, which is a big increase over its previous episode’s 5.6 percent.
In Seoul, where The Escape of the Seven, Episode 13 performed even better, the K-drama earned its highest ever rating with 7.4 percent of the audience, up from Episode 12’s rating of 5.8 percent.
Those ratings meant the SBS revenge drama shot to #1 in its time slot, and ended up in 4th place for the day nationwide and in 3rd place in Seoul.
With four more episodes of the Um Ki Joon-led drama still to air, that also helps set up The Escape of the Seven to finish on a high note. Yay!

Yes, it will be back airing against My Dearest but, hopefully, last night’s high ratings will help it compete.
