The Escape of the Seven, Episode 4 ratings are superb

The ongoing Korean drama The Escape of the Seven, Episode 4 ratings are in after the show aired in South Korea last night, and let’s just say the cast and crew are probably ecstatic.

After all, for a drama that started off with a 6.0 percent rating for its first episode, and one that has since seen increasing ratings with every new episode released, Episode 4’s rating of 7.7 percent nationwide is even better than we could have expected.

The rating increase is a full 1.00 percent increase over the SBS TV drama’s previous episode, and almost a 2.00 percent increase since its first episode aired just three episodes ago.

According to Nielsen Korea, the same huge ratings rise also occurred in Seoul with The Escape of the Seven, Episode 4 grabbing 7.30 percent of the audience share.

That is an increase of .80 percent over Episode 3, and a 1.90 percent increase over Episode 1 in the nation’s capital.

With the K-drama having seemingly grabbed audience’s attention, it is not surprising then that The Escape of the Seven, Episode 4 was in 2nd place on Korean TV for the day with only KBS2’s weekend drama Live Your Own Life surpassing it in the ratings.
