Tower of God Anime 2 Teaser video features plot and character intro by Taichi Ichikawa

Tower of God, Season 2 teaser has Taichi Ichikawa giving plot reminders for Season 1 and introducing new characters for Season 2

The first Tower of God, Season 2  teaser video was revealed during the IGN Fan Fest this weekend, with voice actor Taichi Ichikawa, who voiced Twenty-Fifth Bam in the first season of the anime series, presenting the clip.

In the video, the Japanese voice actor talks about it being almost four years since Season 1 of the anime series premiered (April, 2020), and about the development of his character, Bam in the original series.

He then reminds viewers about the shocking conclusion of Tower of God, Season 1, and explains that Season 2 will begin with The Return of the Prince arc, and that he will be voicing the new character Jyu Viole Grace.

Staff behind the scenes of Tower of God Season 1

The first season was directed by Takashi Sano at Telecom Animation Film, with Hirokazu Hanai serving as assistant director.

Erika Yoshida handled series composition, while character design was done by Masashi Kudo and Miho Tanino.

Kevin Penkin composed the anime’s soundtrack.

Full staff announcements for Season 2 of the anime are yet to come.

Tower of God, Season 2 premieres in July

Fans can expect the second season of Tower of God to premiere in July, 2024 continuing the saga that began with the first season.

The series is part of Crunchyroll Originals and is a collaboration between Crunchyroll and WEBTOON.

The first season, consisting of 13 episodes, premiered on Crunchyroll in April 2020 and simultaneously in Japan.

Crunchyroll has already confirmed that the anime’s second season will stream in various regions including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS territories.

Tower of God, Season 1 began with high ratings on My Anime List for its first few episodes due to the animation and plot, but those ratings progressively dropped as the season continued and the plot became confusing for those of us who had not read the manwha.

It currently stands at an average rating of 7.55 out of 10.
