tvN’s new romantic comedy No Gain No Love premiered last night to very solid ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, No Gain No Love, Episode 1 earned 3.67 percent of the audience share nationwide, while grabbing an even higher 4.07 percent from audiences in Seoul.
That nationwide rating also places the Korean drama well within the range the last three tvN dramas have earned in the same time slot for their first episodes (Lovely Runner – 3.07 percent, The Player 2 – 4.18 percent, Serendipity’s Embrace – 3.87 percent).
Solid international ratings for No Gain No Love
Meanwhile, international viewers are currently rating the first episode of No Gain No Love a very solid 8.4 out 0f 10 on My Drama List, with reviews overwhelmingly positive and ranging from:

Refreshingly different comedy. Very snappy and bold style and direction. They also manage to fold in some serious issues such as the interview scene. This drama is set apart from the many that seem so formulaic recently.
So far too, the chemistry between leads Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae is superb.
