Hyun Bin starring with Jung Woo Sung in Made in Korea alongside Seo Eun Soo and others

Hyun Bin has been confirmed as starring alongside Jung Woo Sung in the upcoming MBC/Disney+ drama Made in Korea.

Joining them in a main role is Seo Eun Soo, and in supporting roles are Won Ji An, Jung Sung Il, and Cho Yeo Jung.

The six were shown on promotional graphics released by Disney+ Korea earlier today via their Instagram account, with Jung Woo Sung already confirmed for his Made in Korea role back in February, and Hyun Bin expected to accept his  starring role and now confirmed.

The Made in Korea plot

The upcoming MBC/Disney+ legal-themed drama follows Baek Ki Tae (played by Hyun Bin), an ambitious man desperate for power and wealth, and Jang Gun Yeong (Jung Woo Sung), a high-level prosecutor who decides to bet everything on stopping him.

The story takes place in the 1970s when South Korea was going through one of its most turbulent and corrupt eras.

Careers of main cast of Made in Korea

The main cast of Made in Korea, Jung Woo Sung, Hyun Bin and Seo Eun Soo are, of course, well-known both in Korea and internationally for some of the K-drama world’s most iconic dramas.

More of a film actor than a K-drama star, Jung Woo Sung recently starred in the drama Tell Me That You Love Me, as well as in the massively successful film 12.12: The Day, which was Korea’s highest-grossing movie last year, and in the movie A Man of Reason, which he also directed.

He also has a guest role in the upcoming film Harbin later this year.

Hyun Bin starred in the mega-hit dramas Crash Landing on You and Memories of the Alhambra, as well as in films The Point Men, Confidential Assignment 2: International, Rampant and The Negotiation.

He will also star in Harbin.

And Seo Eun Soo is well-known for her main roles in the recent drama Chief Detective 1958, Unlock My Boss, Missing: The Other Side, Duel and My Golden Life.

Made in Korea is being directed by Woo Min Ho, director of movies like Inside Men, The Drug King and The Man Standing Next.

He is also directing Harbin.

Made in Korea will be his first K-drama.

The Korean drama has already been confirmed as in production, and to be receiving a release in 2025 on Disney+.

We will keep you updated here at Leo Sigh as more information is released as, with this superb cast, this one could be brilliant.
