Bon Appétit, Your Majesty hits #1 on September’s Drama Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korean Business Research Institute has released their drama brand reputation rankings for September, 2025 and, if you are a K-drama fan you will likely not be surprised with their results.
As usual, the Institute compiles their rankings from a variety of social media posts, news articles, media coverage, and the viewership indexes of 20 Korean dramas.
This time from data collected from August 9th to September 9th.
And while the Drama Brand Reputation Rankings may not seem important to most K-drama fans, keep in mind they are important to the actors who star in the dramas, and to the people involved in its production.
After all, public reaction to dramas is an indication of the type of dramas that may perform well in the future, and of the actors who attract the public’s attention.
Dramas in the Top 5 for September, 2025
In first place, as you might expect from the buzz surrounding the K-drama currently, we have tvN’s Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
A drama that is going gangbusters on Netflix internationally, and that has just grabbed its highest ratings yet with Episode 6.
Following on in second place is the rapidly collapsing in the ratings KBS2 drama Twelve, which both Korean and international viewers seem to hate.
That is then followed by Our Golden Days (KBS2) in third place, Queen’s House (KBS2) in the #4 spot, and KBS1’s Good Luck at #5.
Yes, you could say KBS is doing very well with their dramas this month.

Interestingly, a large percentage of dramas on the September Drama Brand Reputation Rankings are shows that are not being spoken about much outside South Korea,
