Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings… Ayano Kimishima character trailer intros Yuki’s softly spoken maid

Another Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian character trailer is out, and this time it’s for Ayano Kimishima — Yuki’s softly-spoken and expressionless maid.

The Ayano Kimishima character video was released via the anime’s official X account, and follows on from those for Masha, Yuki, for Alya herself, and for Masachika.

The trailer shows how Ayano is completely loyal to Yuki. So much so, she even joins the student council so she can support Yuki at school as well.

Of course, she also respects Masachika. She just wants him to know she has no romantic feelings for him.

Ayano is voiced by Saya Aizawa (Amako in The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic).

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian is based on the popular light novels written by Sunsunsun, and illustrated by Momoco.

Yen Press publishes the light novels in English, with Volume 5 on its way in August, 2024.

They have a quite, long and detailed explanation of the novels’ plot:

Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou is Seiren Private Academy’s “solitary princess.” She’s a half-Russian beauty with silver hair, at the top of her class, student council accountant, and…completely unapproachable. For some reason, she’s also taken on the responsibility of reprimanding the slacker who sits next to her in class.

Masachika Kuze is constantly frustrating her by falling asleep, forgetting his textbooks, and just being an overall unexemplary student. Or at least, that’s how it looks from the outside. She may put on a tough act, but she doesn’t mind Masachika as much as others would think. She even lets him call her by her nickname, Alya. A

nyone hearing the comments she mutters in Russian under her breath might know how she really feels, but since none of her classmates understand the language, she’s free to say whatever she likes!

Except…there is one person who knows what she’s saying. Masachika eavesdrops on her embarrassing revelations, pretending to be clueless, all the while wondering what her flirtatious comments actually mean!

The Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian anime is being directed by Ryouta Itou (My Senpai is Annoying). He is also in charge of series composition.

Yuhei Murota (Love Live!) is both the anime’s character designer, and its chief animation director, while Doga Kobo (Oshi No Ko) is in charge of anime production.

Meanwhile, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian premieres on July 3rd, so there isn’t much longer to wait!
