Crash Course in Romance Episode 7 first in its time slot on Saturday night as audience share increases again

Korean drama Crash Course in Romance continues to increase its viewership in South Korea, with its Sunday night performance earning its highest audience nationwide last week, but its Saturday episodes also beginning to catch up.

Last night, Crash Course in Romance Episode 7 continued that climb with over half a percent increase over last Saturday’s episode nationwide, going from a 9.1 percent audience share in its time slot last week to a 9.7 percent last night.

In Seoul, the romantic comedy fared even better, with an increase from last week’s 10.4 percent audience share to Crash Course in Romance Episode 7’s increase to 10.8 percent last night.

Again, the increased audience for the Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho vehicle is not surprising, as it is one of the best dramas of 2023 so far.

Crash Course in Romance tells the story of  Nam Haeng Seon, a single woman and owner of a banchan shop, who is raising her runaway sister’s teenage daughter.

She also takes care of her adult brother who has Asperger Syndrome.

Stumbling into this little family comes famous math tutor Choi Chi Yeol, a man who may be successful but who few people seem to like, and who hides away his feelings pretending he doesn’t need anyone around him in order to be happy.

After several strange incidents involving Nam Haeng Seon, however, Choi Chi Yeol suddenly finds himself strangely attracted to the banchan shop owner.

The next episode airs later on tonight and, if the past few weeks are anything to go by, expect this fabulous romantic comedy drama to increase its audience share in Korea again.
