Han Ji Hyun starring in thriller Look at Me alongside Lee Min Ki as female lead Lee Min Hyeong

South Korean actress Han Ji Hyun has been confirmed to be starring in the upcoming mystery thriller Look at Me.

Han Ji Hyun’s agency SBD Entertainment confirmed her casting in the TV drama this week as the female lead Lee Min Hyeong.

She will be starring alongside Lee Min Ki, who was previously announced to be cast as the main lead Cha Jung Woo.

Look at Me (working title) is being directed by Ahn Sang Hoon (Empire of Lust), and was written by Hwang Ye Jin, who also wrote Secret Mother.

The drama tells the story of a famous plastic surgeon, Cha Jung Woo, whose reputation is besmirched when he becomes involved in a strange incident.

It is now up to him to clear his name, while at the same time he is leading the team that is providing major reconstruction surgery for a crime victim.

26-year-old Han Ji Hyun is previously known for her breakthrough role in the popular thriller The Penthouse: War in Life as Joo Seok Kyung. A role she superbly played for all three seasons of the drama.

She is also known for her portrayal of main character Do Hae Yi in last year’s university cheering squad hit drama Cheer Up.

Han Ji Hyun’s co-star Lee Min Ki, of course, has almost two decades of experience as an actor in TV dramas and movies.

His most noteworthy roles in TV dramas are Because This Is My First Life’s Nam See Hee, The Beauty Inside‘s Seo Do Jae, The Lies Within’s Jo Tae Shik, and My Liberation Notes‘ Yeom Chang Hee.

In 2023, he is also starring in the main role of Jang Yeol in the upcoming Behind Your Touch.

Han Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ki’s Look at Me is due to start filming in March, and air later in 2023.
