Joseon Attorney Episode 5 audience share lowest yet for Korean revenge drama

The period revenge drama Joseon Attorney, Episode 5 aired last night in South Korea, and saw a slight fall in its audience compared to the show’s previous episode.

Nielsen Korea ratings show the Joseon Attorney, Episode 5 audience share fell nationwide to 2.5 percent from its previous 2.7 percent.

That gave the show its smallest audience since its premiere on March 31st.

Fingers crossed the audience will increase, however, as Joseon Attorney: A Morality (full title) is extremely entertaining, and deserves a larger audience than it has been getting.

International audiences seem to be sticking with the legal drama so far though, with My Drama List users currently rating it 8.1 out of 10 and with most saying how much they are enjoying it so far.

Some are commenting on the cool mix of light and dark moments in the plot, while others are enjoying the chemistry between the male and female leads played by Woo Do Hwan and Bona.

Over on Viki, where the show is streaming outside Korea, people are rating it a 9.4 out of 10 with reviewers pointing out just how good Woo Do Hwan is in the role (he is!), as well as the loveliness of the production quality.

The next episode of Joseon Attorney: A Morality will air in South Korea later tonight on MBC TV at 21:50 (KST), and will show up on Viki soon after.

With the Joseon Attorney, Episode 5 audience share falling last night, let’s see if tonight’s episode does any better.
