Live Your Own Life, Episode 20 still the star every weekend

I enjoy looking at the latest ratings for the Korean weekend drama Live Your Own Life after every Saturday and Sundays airing, as the K-drama has been a big hit since it premiered on September 16th.

Now, 20 episodes into its planned 50-episode run, and Live Your Own Life shows no signs of either losing its popularity or being pushed off its #1 most-watched TV show on Korean TV spot — both for Saturday or Sunday.

For Live Your Own Life, Episode 20, which aired on KBS2 in South Korea last night, that fact did not change one iota.

Sure, the drama’s ratings fell from its previous episode’s rating of 17.7 percent down to 16.6 percent last night nationwide.

But that rating still awarded it the #1 most-watched TV show on Korean TV on Saturday. Again.

Its rating in Seoul on Saturday — 15.1 percent, which was down from Episode 19’s 16.1 percent — did exactly the same.

Of course, the ratings for Live Your Own Life have been up and down between a low of 11.1 percent (Episode 4) to a high of 18.4 percent (Episode 2) since the drama premiered, but nowadays seem to have steadied around 15-16 percent.

Even so, no matter how low they go, the Korean family drama still outshines everything else airing on Korean TV every weekend.

Live Your Own Life stars Uee, Ha Jun, and Go Joo Won.

The K-drama airs every Saturday and Sunday on KBS2 at at 20:05 (KST), with Viki streaming each new episode for international viewers as well.
