Events definitely look like they will be exciting in the latest episode of the Korean drama Love Song for Illusion, which is airing in South Korea tonight.
At least if the recently-released Love Song for Illusion stills for Episode 9 are anything to go by.
Those stills show crown prince Sajo Hyun (beautifully played by Park Ji Hoon) seeming to be hesitating while a fire burns out of control and Yeon Wol (Hong Ye Ji) is inside, and others seem to be trapped.
A fire that, if you look at the building materials used, would be burning out of control in a matter of just seconds.
The three Love Song for Illusion, Episode 9 stills are the latest photos released for the Park Ji Hoon-led historical drama.
The drama itself is directed by Lee Jung Sub (Dali and the Cocky Prince), and was written by Yoon Kyung Ah (Homemade Love Story).
The Korean historical fantasy drama, which is based on a webtoon written by Vanziun, stars Park Ji Hoon, Hong Ye Ji, Hwang Hee, and Ji Woo.
At the midway mark, the plot of the 16-episode Korean drama is currently all over the place and quite frustrating to watch, but the performances of the actors, both main and supporting, make it worth a watch.
Episode 9 of Love Song for Illusion will air in South Korea on KBS2 at 22:10 (KST), with Viki streaming it for its international subscribers.
