After falling to an all-time low for its previous episode, the Korean drama Love Song for Illusion, Episode 8 aired on KBS2 earlier tonight and earned a ratings rise.
Data from Nielsen Korea shows the latest episode of the fantasy period drama earned 2.4 percent of the viewership nationwide.
That is an increase from its previous episode’s all-time-low rating of 1.8 percent, which it earned last Tuesday, and is a nice way to end the K-drama’s first half.
The Park Ji Hoon and Hong Ye Ji-led drama also garnered the same rating in Seoul (2.4 percent), although it is impossible to compare that rating with its previous episode’s due to ongoing server issues at Nielsen Korea over the last couple of weeks blocking access to data.
Meanwhile, the Korean drama is still being rated a solid 8.2 out of 10 from users of My Drama List, and a very high 9.5 out of 10 from international subscribers at Viki.
Proving international viewers may actually like the K-drama even more than those in Korea currently watching it.
The next episode of Love Song for Illusion will air on KBS2 tomorrow, January 30th, 2024 at 10:10 pm, with Viki streaming the Korean drama around the same time.
