JTBC drama Miss Night and Day, Episode 16 ended the K-drama’s run in South Korea last night with a massive ratings rise compared to its penultimate episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, Miss Night and Day, Episode 16 earned 11.77 percent of the nationwide audience share, which is a huge jump from its previous episode’s 8.70 percent.
It is also the first time the Korean drama has earned double digit ratings.
In Seoul, the K-drama experienced an even bigger jump, increasing from Episode 15’s already healthy 8.61 percent of the viewership to last night’s 12.09 percent.
With those ratings, Miss Night and Day ended up as the #1 most-watched show on cable TV/pay TV for all of Sunday.
They also mean Miss Night and Day ended its 16-episode run with an average rating per episode of 7.18 percent nationwide, and 7.45 percent in Seoul.
Miss Night and Day stars Lee Jung Eun, Jung Eun Ji and Choi Jin Hyuk.
It aired on JTBC in South Korea from June 15th to August 4th, with Netflix streaming all 16 episodes for its international subscribers.
Over on Netflix, Miss Night and Day is currently on its 6th week on the platform’s Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows chart, and likely to be on its 7th week when their updated data is released tomorrow.
