My Dearest Ep 9 back to HIGHEST rating as final episode of Part 1 airs tonight

With the final episode of Part 1 of the Korean drama My Dearest airing later on tonight, it is no wonder last night’s episode of the historical drama was back to its highest rating ever as audiences are desperate to know how the first part ends.

(And I’m predicting a cliff hanger, how about you?)

According to Nielsen Korea, My Dearest, Part 9 garnered 10.6 percent of the audience share, which was up from its previous episode’s 10.3 percent and back to the highest rating ever that the drama earned for Episode 7.

Considering it began with a 5.4 percent rating for its first episode back in early August, that means the drama’s audience share has almost doubled in just a month.

With the final episode of Part 1 premiering on MBC TV tonight, it wouldn’t be surprising if the drama also ends its first half with an even higher high.

My Dearest‘s international ratings

Meanwhile, international viewers of My Dearest are still personally rating the drama a high 8.7 out of 10 on My Drama List, while viewers using IMDB are giving it an incredibly high 9.5 out of 10.

Over on Viki where the drama is streaming for international audiences, the MBC drama is earning an even higher 9.8 out of 10.

The final episode of My Dearest, Part 1 will air on MBC in South Korea tonight at 21:50 (KST).

Part 2 of the drama is scheduled to begin airing some time in October.

Meanwhile, check out the trailer for tonight’s Part 10 (in Korean) below, and watch Episode 9 now via Viki.
