Netflix film Wall to Wall stars Kang Ha Neul, Yeom Hye Ran and Seo Hyun Woo

Netflix has just announced a new Korean thriller movie is on its way.

This time, the film stars Kang Ha Neul, Yeom Hye Ran, and Seo Hyun Woo and is a gripping suspense thriller called Wall to Wall.

Korean drama fans may remember the film was mentioned back in early April, but this time going by the title 84 Square Meters, and with the same actors mentioned as “likely stars”.

Now that it has been confirmed by the streaming platform, we also have more information about the Wall to Wall plot.

The Wall to Wall plot

According to Netflix, the film delves into the unsettling tale of Woo Seong (played by Kang Ha Neul), a young man who achieves his dream of owning a home in an 84-square meter apartment, only to be tormented by weird noises echoing between the walls.

Woo Seong is an office worker in his thirties who fulfills his lifelong aspiration of homeownership through a financial rollercoaster involving savings, stocks, loans, and even, at one point, using profits from his mother’s garlic field.

However, his joy is overshadowed by the burden of steep loan interest and the relentless disturbance of nightly noises from neighboring floors, pushing him to the brink of emotional turmoil.

Yeom Hye Ran (Mask Girl) takes on the role of Eun Hwa, the spokesperson for the apartment’s residents, while Seo Hyun Woo (A Shop for Killers) plays Jin Ho, Woo Seong’s upstairs neighbor.

Together, they embark on a tense journey to uncover the origins of the mysterious disturbances, heightening the suspense of the narrative.

Along with a hint about the Wall to Wall plot, Netflix also released a graphic promoting the film, and featuring the three actors. (above)

There is no word yet on when Wall to Wall will premiere on Netflix, but in the news story earlier in the month, it was reported the Korean film was filming in early 2024 and likely to release later in the year.
