Russian singer Nyusha’s single ‘Tsunami‘, or ‘Цунами‘ in Russian, hit the number 1 spot in Russia soon after it released. No wonder as it has an absolute kick-ass sexy video, and the song itself is uptempo, cool and incredibly catchy. And no wonder ‘Цунами’ is my Repeat Rotation Video today. It’s just the kind of song I like.
Nyusha’s real name, by the way, is Anna Vladimirovna Shurochkina, and she is one of Russia’s most popular singers with eight number one tracks to her name so far, including ‘Tsunami‘.
Several have even been named as some of the best or most memorable songs in Russia. Not bad for a singer who is still only 24 years old.
