Pandora: Beneath the Paradise, Ep. 2 ratings rise slightly nationwide but fall in Seoul

The new Korean drama Pandora: Beneath the Paradise, Episode 2 ratings showed a slight increase in the drama’s viewership nationwide over its first episode last night in South Korea.

According to Nielsen Korea, nationwide ratings for the latest episode of the revenge drama saw an increase from Saturday night’s 4.8 percent to 5.7 percent nationwide.

On the other hand, Pandora: Beneath the Paradise, Episode 2 ratings in Seoul fell from 6.0 percent to 5.6 percent, seeming to suggest the capital city’s population is not as interested in the Lee Ji Ah-led drama as folks outside the city.

Asian Wiki describes the drama like this:

In order to protect her family, Hong Tae Ra must become the First Lady of Korea.

Hong Tae Ra has a perfect life with her beloved husband Pyo Jae Hyun and their loverly daughter, except for one thing. Hong Tae Ra has no recollection of her past.

One day, she regains her memory and faces her harrowing past. Her perfect life is now broken and she finds herself in an uncontrollable situation.
