While specifics about the project remain under wraps, his agency, YY Entertainment, confirmed that the actor is already considering the offer, sparking excitement among his supporters.

What is Kitchen Soldier about?

Based on a popular web novel and webtoon called 취사병 전설이 되다 (aka Becoming a Legend Kitchen Soldier) is set to tell a heartwarming and motivating story with Park Ji Hoon at the center of it all.

The plot revolves around Kang Sung Jae, a young man from a humble background who joins the military.

But, instead of making his name through military feats, he uses his superb culinary talents and relentless determination, and soon rises to become a very well-known personality.

Park Ji Hoon has reportedly been offered the role of Kang Sung Jae, a character whose resilience and passion for cooking enable him to overcome adversity and reach great heights.

Park Ji Hoon’s already busy career

If he accepts the role, this could be another chance for Park Ji Hoon to demonstrate his acting range, adding yet another dynamic character to his already expanding (and very busy, I might add) career.

The 25-year-old actor is already known for his recent main roles in Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency, Love Revolution, At a Distance, Spring is Green, Weak Hero Class 1 and Weak Hero Class 2, and Love Song for Illusion.

The superbly talented team in charge of Kitchen Soldier

Kitchen Soldier is being directed by Jo Nam Hyung, renowned for his work on the smash hit dramas Tale of the Nine-Tailed and Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938.

The script is being written by Choi Ryong, the talent behind Sorry Not Sorry.

With such an impressive team at the helm then, Kitchen Soldier is shaping up to be a drama fans won’t want to miss!
