Pump Up the Healthy Love EP2 earns same EP1 rating – only KBS2 Wed/Thurs drama in 2025 to achieve that

Pump Up the Healthy Love maintains its viewership

Things are looking quite positive for new KBS2 drama Pump Up the Healthy Love, as Episode 2 aired last night to the same ratings as Episode 1.

Not spectacular news by any stretch of the imagination, but it does prove that most people who began watching it on Wednesday night tuned in again on Thursday night, so obviously enjoyed the K-drama enough to do that.

That alone is a good sign for Pump Up the Healthy Love going forward, as every KBS2 dramas that premiered in that time spot this year saw a drop off in the ratings for their second episode.

That nationwide rating then was 1.8 percent of the audience share on Thursday night — the same as on Wednesday.

International ratings for Pump Up the Healthy Love are in

While the ratings for the Korean drama have dropped from 8.2 to 7.8 out of 10 on My Drama List (MDL), that’s par for the course with viewers of that site where dramas are almost always lower rated than they deserve for the first few episodes.

Check back with the site about mid-way through the series, and that will give you a more accurate idea of the real ratings international viewers are leaving.

Meanwhile, the ratings for Pump Up the Healthy Love on Viki are now out, with 250 people rating it so far.

They are giving the Korean rom-com an average rating of 9.1 out of 10 — slightly high, I would say, but I’ll take it over the rating at MDL.

The 12-episode Pump Up the Healthy Love stars  Lee Jun Young (When Life Gives You Tangerines) and Jung Eun Ji (Miss Night and Day), and airs every Wednesday and Thursday night at  21:50 (KST) through June 5th.

You can watch its first two episodes now, without need of a subscription, via Viki.

Update: After a drop for Episode 3, Pump Up the Healthy Love is back on the uptick with Episode 4
