The First Responders 2 still holding onto its core audience
While some international viewers are complaining they do not like the direction the K-drama The First Responders 2 has headed in recent weeks, according to figures from Nielsen Korea, the SBS drama is still receiving strong ratings in South Korea.
Albeit not as strong as its first season.
Last night’s The First Responders 2, Episode 9 for instance still showed a similar solid rating to those it has received throughout the series proving it is still holding onto its core audience.
Nationwide, that rating was a 5.5 percent, which is slightly down from its previous episode, while in Seoul the drama earned 5.7 percent of the audience.
The action thriller is also still rated a solid 8.2 out of 10 by viewers using My Drama List.
The First Responders 2 ends on September 9th
With just three episodes to air before the Kim Rae Won, Son Ho Jun, and Gong Seung Yeo-led drama ends its second series, the next episode will air on SBS tonight at 22:00 (KST).
Its final two episodes will then premiere next Friday and Saturday (September 8th and 9th) at the same time, with Disney Plus streaming them for international viewers soon after.
