According to the official X account for the popular ongoing anime series Oshi no Ko, the already scheduled Oshi no Ko 2, Episode 21 will not be airing on September 4th as planned.
The anime’s X account does not explain the reason for the delay, except to say that an Oshi no Ko “Retrospective Episode” will be aired in its place.
That episode will be narrated by Takeo Otsuka who plays Aquamarine Hoshino in the anime, and will “look back on the events of the second season so far”.
The special episode will also include interviews with voice actors Megumi Han (Kana Arima) and Manaka Iwami (Akane Kurokawa).
Oshi no Ko, Episode 21 is then scheduled (currently, at least, although things can change) to air on Wednesday, September 11th in its usual time slot.

While no reasons have been given for the Episode 21 delay, fans all over social media are speculating that it is likely due to production problems at animation studio Doga Kobo.
Production problems that may also delay the remainder of the anime’s planned episodes, if they are not quickly worked out.
Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen, eh? Especially as the second season of the anime, in my opinion at least, has turned out to be even better than the first.
Meanwhile, while you are waiting for Oshi no Ko, Episode 21 to air/stream, you can currently re-watch all already released episodes of both seasons of Oshi no Ko via HIDIVE.
