American pop rock band Against The Current’s official video for their new single ‘Wasteland‘ has just been released, and if this track doesn’t end up being featured on the soundtracks of The Vampire Diaries or Pretty Little Liars after this sumptuous video, I’m not the music aficionado I think I am.
Because the track ‘Wasteland‘ itself is a bit more pop than what this indie band usually produces already, (because rock has been their thing lately) but when it is combined with a luscious video that is also quite a bit dark, macabre and oh so gorgeously romantic, you just know it’s the perfect material for the aforementioned shows.
Besides, lead singer Chrissy Costanza’s voice is so soaringly beautiful, and grabs your emotions so fast, it would be a crying shame not to have this song backing a TV series, and thus giving it even more of an audience.
