Bebe Rexha goes country with ‘Meant To Be‘ and Florida Georgia Line

Singer songwriter Bebe Rexha has proved in the past how versatile she is when it comes to choosing the songs she records. The latest proof?

Rexha’s release of the music video for her latest single ‘Meant To Be‘. A collaboration with country pop duo Florida Georgia Line, and a Bebe Rexha that is definitely more than just a little bit country.

The problem with this one?

While both Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line have superb voices, and the song is catchy in parts, the video is dull and the song is ridiculously repetitive.

Sorry Bebe, not a fan of this one.

Meant To Be‘ is from Bebe’s EP ‘All Your Fault: Pt. 2′, which was released in August and includes collaborations with Lil Wayne, Kranium, and Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz.

As Rexha herself has said as far as musical styles go, the EP is “all over the place”. With songs other than this one, though, it definitely works.
