American singer-songwriter Beck has released the lyrics video for ‘Country Down‘. It’s from his ninth studio album Morning Phase, you know, the album that was awarded the Grammy for Best Rock Album in February.
The ‘Country Down‘ lyrics video shows Beck in the studio playing guitar, with an overlay of sweeping views in the American countryside. It’s quite pretty actually.
As for the song, to me it’s more country mixed with Southern rock than anything, but it’s also typical Beck as he has always played a bit of everything. Which is one of the reasons so many people love him. He’s always full of surprises, yet everything he releases is pure quality.
