As the weeks pass since Conchita Wurst won the Eurovision Song Contest, it’s getting more and more difficult to choose the best live performances of some of her more popular songs.
That’s because each successive performance seems to get better and better than the one before, with Conchita singing songs such as ‘Believe‘ so perfectly it makes you want to cry.
One of Conchita Wurst’s latest live performances was at the annual Starnacht am Wörthersee in Austria last weekend, and it’s there she knocked ‘Believe’ right out of the ballpark (for those non-Americans among you, it means she was superb) – making it one of the best performances of the song I’ve seen her do so far. You’ll see what I mean when you watch her in the video below.
By the way, the Starnacht am Wörthersee was in its 15th year this year, and was held on Saturday July 19th in the city of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. It was also televised across Austria live.
Featuring both Austrian and international stars, including Eurovision’s The Common Linnets, my guess is it was Conchita Wurst many of the audience and the viewers at home were there to see as, when you watch the video, you’ll see immediately just how popular she now is in her home country.
Honestly, I couldn’t be happier for her as, with the incredible amount of work she’s put in, and the obviously lovely person that she is, she deserves every good thing coming to her.
