After experiencing a drop in its ratings for its previous episode last weekend, Korean drama Bitter Sweet Hell‘s ratings are back on the rise with Bitter Sweet Hell, Episode 5 airing last night to a very nice increase.

Those ratings, via Nielsen Korea, showed the Korean drama back up to 6.0 percent of the viewership nationwide on Friday night, after its previous episode dropped down to an all-time low of 4.9 percent.

A similar result occurred with viewers in Seoul as well, as the black comedy thriller’s audience share jumped from last week’s 4.5 percent to last night’s 6.2 percent.

Both ratings put the K-drama only 0.2 percent and 0.1 percent away from the highest yet rating it earned for Episode 3.

As for international viewers, the MBC drama is also earning a nice 8.4 out of 10 from users on IMDB, although the eternally grumpy users of My Drama List giving it a low 7.9 out of 10.

Bitter Sweet Hell stars Kim Hee Sun, Lee Hye Young, Kim Nam Hee, and Yeonwoo, with the 12 episode K-drama currently scheduled to run through June 29th.

The drama’s next episode will air later on tonight on MBC in Korea.

Oddly, Viki is still not streaming Bitter Sweet Hell, and won’t be doing for another week.

Let’s see how its rating go then as, during the last couple of weekends, the drama’s Saturday episode has garnered a lower viewership than its Friday night show.
