Blind Faith’s ‘Can’t Find My Way Home’ played on Firefly Lane, Season 2, Ep. 2 – still mellow and cool

The short-lived British supergroup Blind Faith’s ‘Can’t Find My Way Home‘ was one of the many late 1960s/70s songs played on the soundtrack of Season 2 of the popular Netflix drama Firefly Lane this week — Firefly Lane, Season 2, Episode 2, “On the Road“.

The track was first released in 1969 by the psychedelic rock band, which comprised Traffic’s Steve Winwood and Ric Grech, and Cream’s Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker.

Blind Faith’s ‘Can’t Find My Way Home‘ was one of only a handful of tracks the band released during the year they were together, with most tracks they recorded appearing on their self-titled first and only studio album.

The mellow guitar-driven song was written by Steve Winwood.

It was one of the six tracks that propelled the band’s debut album to #1 in six countries, including in the U.S. and the UK.

Although not particularly well-received by critics at the time, the album has since been looked at more favorably with several music critics saying it should be a staple in any good rock album collection.

Listen to Blind Faith’s ‘Can’t Find My Way Home‘ as heard on Firefly Lane on the band’s only album, and in the video.

The first half of Season 2 of Firefly Lane is currently streaming on Netflix, with the other half due out in 2023.

Netflix has already announced it is the final season of the drama.
