Bojana Stamenov gives lovely press conference at Eurovision 2015

Bojana Stamenov, Serbia’s representative to Eurovision 2015 gave her first press conference at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna earlier in the week, where she talked about her impressions of the first few days at Eurovision, and about the song she will be singing.

And can I just start this by saying how delightful Bojana Stamenov is, and what incredibly good energy she gives off, and also how happy I was to see ORF radio and TV presenter Kati Bellowitsch interviewing, as she has such a lovely personality.

The first question Kati asked Bojana was about the difference between the original Serbian version of her Eurovision song, ‘Ceo svet je moj‘, and the new English version she will be singing at Eurovision, ‘Beauty Never Lies‘, as she wanted to know if she preferred one over the other.

Bojana said, because the original song had been written for her, and it was the first song that had ever been written for her, she preferred the Serbian version. But only slightly. She then went on to sing the chorus of the song in Serbian to show how it sounds. And, yes, she’s correct. I prefer the Serbian version too.

Kati then opened up the floor to questions from the press, where Bojana was asked about changing her normal style for Eurovision, about singing in a children’s theater in Serbia, and how she felt representing Serbia.

Watch Bojana Stamenov’s first press conference at Eurovision 2015 in the video below.

As for her Eurovision performance, Bojana will be in semi-final 1 on May 19th. She’s expected to do well.
