The April Drama Brand Reputation Rankings are out via the Korean Business Research Institute and, with the Korean drama the most popular series airing right now, it probably isn’t any surprise to see Buried Hearts still in the #1 spot.
Just like it was last month.
That show’s #1 place is followed with Lee Je Hoon‘s The Art of Negotiation in the #2 spot, and the just-ended drama Undercover High School starring Seo Kang Joon, Jin Ki Joo and Kim Shin Rok at #3.
Rounding out the Top 5, the weekday drama Cinderella Game is at #4, while IU and Park Bo Gum‘s smash Netflix hit When Life Gives You Tangerines hit #5.
The rest of the Top 20 looks like this:
- Buried Hearts (SBS)
- The Art of Negotiation (JTBC)
- Undercover High School (MBC)
- Cinderella Game (KBS2)
- When Life Gives You Tangerines (Netflix)
- For Eagle Brothers (KBS2)
- The Divorce Insurance (tvN)
- Hyper Knife (Disney+)
- My Merry Marriage (KBS1)
- The Potato Lab (tvN)
- Friendly Rivalry (U+ Mobile TV)
- The Witch (Channel A)

Top 5 dramas performing incredibly well elsewhere too
As for the Top 5 dramas, Buried Hearts is still earning massively increasing ratings with every new episode released as it heads into its final weekend.
The Art of Negotiation grabbed its best ever ratings on Sunday night as it too heads towards its final two episodes, while Undercover High School is still #1 on the Most Buzzworthy Drama chart this month.
Cinderella Game is also continuing to earn superb ratings as, with Episode 88 just released, it just grabbed 11.8 percent of the audience share yesterday via Nielsen Korea.
And, of course, When Life Gives You Tangerines ended its 16-episode release on Netflix last month, and is now the #1 show on their Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart. Just as I predicted it would be.
Star IU is also #1 on the Most Buzzworthy Actors list, while her co-star Park Bo Gum is at #2.
