Castaway Diva‘s Seoul audience biggest yet
K-drama Castaway Diva, Episode 6 aired last night to a massive increase in its ratings, as well as to its highest rating ever in Seoul.
According to Nielsen Korea, Castaway Diva earned 7.93 percent of the audience share, which was a big increase from its previous episode’s 5.39 percent.
In Seoul, the Korean romantic comedy drama saw an even bigger increase with Castaway Diva, Episode 6 earning 8.88 percent of the audience share, which means it also grabbed its highest ever rating in the country’s capital.
Sure, the tvN drama wasn’t up against My Dearest, which it unfortunately is on Saturday nights, but that is still a heckuva ratings’ jump for the drama.
As it heads into its second half next weekend then, cast and crew are sure to be thrilled.
Castaway Diva stars Park Eun Bin, Kim Hyo Jin, Chae Jong Hyeop, Cha Hak Yeon, and Kim Joo Hun.
It airs every Saturday and Sunday evening at 21:20 (KST) on tvN.
Netflix is airing the K-drama for international viewers and, on that streaming platform too, the Park Eun Bin-led drama is performing very well.
Netflix’ latest released numbers (Tuesday, November 7th) show Castaway Diva the 9th most-watched non-English TV series on the streaming platform.
