K-drama Castaway Diva, Episode 12 ended the tvN series last night in South Korea on record ratings — both nationwide and in Seoul.

The Park Eun Bin-led drama saw a huge jump in ratings from its previous episode, and a massive jump from the ratings the romantic comedy drama earned for its first episode on October 28th. (3.7 percent nationwide/3.45 percent in Seoul)

According to last night’s data from Nielsen Korea, Castaway Diva, Episode 12 earned a rating of 9.00 percent, which is up from Episode 11’s rating of 7.28 percent nationwide.

In Seoul, the tvN drama grabbed an even higher 9.84 percent of the audience share, which is a very nice increase from the drama’s previous episode’s rating of 8.14 percent.

Both ratings easily placed Castaway Diva, Episode 12 as the #1 most-watched show on cable TV on Sunday in Korea.

Castaway Diva on Netflix

It isn’t just Korean audiences that seem to have loved Castaway Diva either, as the K-drama has also performed superbly well since it was released on Netflix for international audiences in late October.

So much so, Castaway Diva has been on the Netflix Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows chart every week since it premiered on the streaming platform — in the #9 spot first, then #6, #5, and #7 spots.

It is very likely to be on last week’s Top 10 chart as well, when the latest data is released by Netflix tomorrow.

Castaway Diva stars Park Eun Bin, Kim Hyo Jin, Chae Jong Hyeop, Cha Hak Yeon and Kim Joo Hun.

It aired on tvN from October 28th to December 3rd.

The entire 12-episode series is now available to watch on Netflix for international audiences.
