Check in Hanyang, Episode 16 hit Channel A last night, and ended the Korean drama on its highest ever ratings. (I just love it when a drama I’ve enjoyed goes out on a high note, don’t you?)
In its case, Check in Hanyang, Episode 16 grabbed 4.15 percent of the nationwide audience, which is a huge increase from its penultimate episode’s 2.60 percent on Saturday night.
The Korean coming-of-age romance drama also earned its highest ever rating from viewers in Seoul, garnering a slightly lower 4.022 percent of the audience share — nicely up from Episode 15’s rating of 2.72 percent.
That means the Korean drama kicked off its first episode with 1.81 percent/2.00 percent (nationwide/in Seoul), and ended its 16-episode run with a 4.15 percent/4.022 percent viewership.
Not bad, eh?
Check in Hanyang also ended its run with an extremely high rating of 9.3 out of 10 stars on Viki, where it is streaming for international viewers.
That’s an exceptionally good ratings average from the almost 3,400 people that have rated it on that platform so far.
The K-drama is also streaming via Netflix in select regions.
The Korean drama stars the superb ensemble cast of Bae In Hyuk, Kim Ji Eun, Jung Gun Joo, Park Jae Chan, Kim Eui Sung, Yoon Je Moon, Han Jae Suk, and Kim Min Jung.
It aired on Channel A from December 21st, 2024 – February 9th, 2025.
