Don’t you just love the internet?
Thirty minutes after Austrian singer Conchita Wurst sings ‘Rise Like a Phoenix‘ at the Allsang pa Skansen show in Sweden, and the video is already up on YouTube. Awesome, though, as I really enjoyed Conchita’s performance when I watched it live online, so it’s fabulous to be able to see it again so soon.
And, of course, Conchita’s performance at Allsang pa Skansen was perfect. Her voice sounded richer than normal, she looked beautiful and stylish in a full-length white dress, and even her short conversation with the host afterwards was lovely – particularly when she explained what ‘unstoppable’ is all about.
Personally, I wasn’t familiar with the Swedish TV show Allsang pa Skansen before Conchita’s performance tonight, but what a lovely show it is. And an absolutely stunning location.
In fact, I will definitely be watching it again the next time it’s on.
